Let’s KEEP Their Education Growing!

Our public schools are vital to the health and success of our mountain community. Thanks to the community’s amazing support, we are now looking towards building a stronger future for our schools, investing in key programs such as art, science, counseling, Spanish, library, math intervention and restoring a 12th teacher at Loma to help alleviate class sizes next school year.

Loma Public Education Fund (LPEF) is a volunteer-driven charitable organization that raises funds to augment critical programs and services at Loma Elementary and C.T. English Middle School.  KEEP is our annual direct giving campaign aimed at closing the funding gap for the following school year.  Government funding is not enough.

Build stronger mountain schools, donate to LPEF.

Cash gifts may be made:

  • Through this Causevox campaign
  • Via PayPal through LPEF's website
  • Through your employer's Benevity site for corporate matching, if available (search for "Loma Public Education Fund")
  • By check payable to "LPEF" mailed to 23800 Summit Road, Los Gatos, CA 95033

If you are interested in donating financial instruments such as stocks or bonds, please contact our Treasurer at [email protected].

All gifts are important to us and will have an impact.  Current Loma and C.T. English families are asked to give a family donation of $1,500 or a single child donation of $1,000.

If you are able to give more, the Leadership Circle starts at $2,500.  Members of the Leadership Circle are recognized for demonstrating a level of generosity that is transformative, by personally donating or raising $2,500 or more during the fiscal year to LPEF's annual fund.

We are grateful for DONORS and VOLUNTEERS!

Loma Public Education Fund (LPEF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization (tax ID: 03-0440872). Your contribution is tax-deductible to the extent provided by law. An electronic donation receipt will be provided for your records. For general questions about LPEF or KEEP, please contact us at [email protected].

Total funds raised include donations received by LPEF prior to the launch of the 2023 KEEP campaign. LPEF partners with the Loma Prieta Joint Union School District (LPJUSD) administration to identify fundraising priorities. Through our grant writing process, LPEF directs the distribution of funds to LPJUSD in a manner consistent with our fundraising requests to the community. Funds raised in excess of immediate grant priorities may be held in LPEF reserves for the following fiscal year.

LPEF is not involved in LPJUSD personnel decisions, including decisions regarding layoffs. LPEF cannot guarantee which specific programs, teachers or services will ultimately be retained or restored by LPJUSD.
